There are times I feel I cannot get close enough
with the lens of my camera.
I want to go deep,
seeking all that is there to be seen.
In that flicker-moment, I see
Fire and Ice,
Golden Oil flowing,
Light and Glory,
and my senses overflow.
Colors ignite euphoric,
other-worldly vision,
and forms awaken
new thought and understanding.
I revel in
both what is seen within,
and what is felt.
Elation blankets my soul.
And still,
this Beauty is not enough.
I want to see
the face of God.
