Warmth and wonder
outside my window,
color and Beauty that surround
an unlikely table,
made on a whim.
A new pond was dug,
and a found treasure-rock became a lid
on table's base of fallen tree.
I like the idea of fashioning Rock and Tree together,
merged as One.
This table, plain to some,
feels fit for fine dining to this heart,
a place for a banquet
with a King.
